What Raw Materials Can the Chicken Feed Pellet Machine Process?
The Chicken Feed Pellet Machine is equipped with interchangeable flat dies featuring hole sizes ranging from 2.5 mm to 10 mm. The density of finished pellets can reach 1.1×10³ kg/m³. On small-sized models, pellet length can be freely adjusted by modifying the cutter height, stably maintained at 1 to 5 times the pellet diameter, fully complying with feed pellet production standards.
This machine supports an extensive range of raw materials and can smoothly pelletize all kinds of powdered breeding feedstock and high-fiber materials. Its specific applicable scenarios are categorized as follows:
Pelleting of complete feed for livestock and poultry
It caters to rural chicken breeders and medium & small layer/broiler farms, and also processes feed for ducks, geese, pigs, cattle, sheep, rabbits, pigeons, fish, shrimp and other aquatic species. Four major categories of feed ingredients can be pelletized after being pre-ground into fine powder; optimal molding performance is achieved when moisture content is controlled between 12% and 16%.
Pelleting of low-adhesion high-fiber materials
It extrudes and molds hard-to-process high-fiber feedstock with poor binding properties that fail to form pellets on ordinary machines, including wood shavings, rice husks, cotton stalks, cottonseed hulls, weeds, corn cobs, peanut shells, sunflower seed husks, various crop straws, agricultural and forestry residues, and light industrial waste.
Multi-functional low-temperature organic fertilizer pelleting
The low-temperature extrusion process preserves microbial activity. The machine can process biological bacterial fertilizer, organic fertilizer, fermented manure and compound fertilizer powder, enabling resource recycling of breeding waste via pelleting.
Supplementary Operation Precautions
1.Whole grains, intact straw stalks and fresh damp green forage cannot be fed into the machine directly. All raw materials must be crushed and sun-dried to reach the standard moisture content. Stones, metal fragments and hard impurities are strictly prohibited from entering the feeding port to prevent damage to flat dies and press rollers.
2.Pure high-fiber materials cannot form pellets independently. They need to be blended with starch-containing grains such as corn and wheat bran at a proper ratio to ensure intact pellets that resist pulverization.
3.Swap flat dies with corresponding hole sizes according to different breeding stages: select 2.5–3 mm dies for chicks, 3–4 mm dies for pullets and laying hens, and 6–10 mm dies for high-fiber feed for cattle, sheep and rabbits.
